Our Story

Show Business started out in the year 2000 – a big idea from a family passionate about interior design. Jackie Summerfield, Founder of Show Business Interiors, sums up those early days:

We started the business because we really believe in the difference great design makes. At the time, every show home looked the same: there was a dearth of personality and imagination. We felt we could really help house builders set the scene to make potential buyers feel at home. And we’re still working with many of our original clients today.
— Jackie Summerfield, Founder

Since then we’ve grown and evolved, but the close-knit culture remains. In fact, many of our talented team have been working together since our earliest days. And it’s not just longevity that bonds us –  we really click as people, too.

A very different interior design partner

We’re commercial and passionately creative. On your side but ready to push you to really appeal to your clients. Service-obsessed – but realistic about budgets and timings. It all adds up to a team you can really rely on to add the magic feeling that turns houses into homes.

“Great people to work with”

Mixing diverse skill sets and personalities in an environment where they complement each other creates a closely bonded team; we’re reliant on and invested in each other’s success. Together, we set the scene for happy-ever-afters, such a rewarding, satisfying, exciting way to spend our days. It makes us a happy bunch – and our clients tell us that working with us is a pleasure, too.
