Time and Place
At the end of June, Show Business Interiors had the pleasure of attending a fantastic event at Andrew Martin’s show room in Chelsea, London. As well as being able to lose ourselves in the wonderful cabinet of curiosities at the Andrew Martin headquarters, we were invited to celebrate the 20 year Anniversary since Kelly Hoppen won The Andrew Martin Interior Designer of the Year Award.
This wonderful occasion combined two very different aesthetics both of which regularly inspire our Show Home Interiors. The setting was a labyrinth filled with treasures; beautiful lighting, eccentric artwork, an eclectic mix of furniture and a vast collection of opulent and rich fabrics.
We can relate to the philosophy behind Andrew Martin here at Show Business Interiors. An appreciation of objects and artefacts that offer an element of escapism and discovery, each telling its own story. This is an idea we relish when creating our Interiors. Telling the story behind the intended home owner to create the sense of a very real home, offering interest and intrigue to the potential buyer. We love to focus on creating memorable and striking interiors and the Andrew Martin product collection certainly achieves this.
It was also great to celebrate Kelly Hoppen’s achievements. Her exquisitely balanced interiors have been a great source of inspiration for our Show Homes and because of her timeless style I am sure we will continue to delve into her design books for many years to come.
