Show Business Interiors partners with Age UK, Cheshire

Strengthening community impact with sustainable solutions and community spirit

We are delighted to announce our latest partnership with Age UK Cheshire, further solidifying our commitment to sustainable practices and community engagement. This collaboration builds upon our recent donations to Cheshire-based charities, including St Paul’s Centre and Age UK, demonstrating our ongoing dedication to supporting local initiatives.

We recognise the importance of innovative stock management and community involvement. Our recent donation of furniture from show homes not only benefits Age UK Cheshire but also contributes to the larger goal of sustainability. By repurposing unwanted furniture and reintroducing it to the community, we are reducing waste and promoting environmental responsibility.

Moving forward, our partnership with Age UK Cheshire will remain a cornerstone of our corporate social responsibility efforts. We are committed to providing ongoing support through donations and collaboration, with the aim of making a meaningful and lasting difference to those in the community. By working hand in hand with Age UK Cheshire and other local organisations, we can continue to foster a sense of community spirit while promoting sustainable solutions for the benefit of all.

Sonia Gore, Area Support Manager of Age UK, Cheshire, states: “We would like to express our profound gratitude for the recent generous donation from Show Business Interiors, kindly offering the furniture for our charity shops.”

“This significant contribution is not only a testament to the spirit of community and collaboration in Cheshire but also provides vital support in advancing our mission. The funds raised from selling this furniture will directly aid our initiatives to alleviate loneliness, combat poverty, and increase independence among the older population. Such acts of generosity and partnership underscore the impact we can achieve together and are a source of inspiration and motivation for us all. We are deeply thankful for this support and for the difference, it will make in the lives of many older people in our community.”

Age UK Cheshire is a local organisation dedicated to working with older people, their families, and their carers. Their mission is to support older individuals in living their best lives. This involves a holistic approach that includes relieving loneliness to ensure that older people feel connected, combatting poverty so that they have sufficient resources to live on, and increasing independence, enabling them to lead lives they desire and deserve.
